Ryan, with Dems taking control of House and Senate (big cheer!!), I am guardedly optimistic that the issues raised in the article will be addressed and ameliorated, but it will take time.
Dems will become more emboldened and these issues will see the light of day. We live in interesting times. We, as a country, made our own bed, so to speak. Obviously, quite a few of us couldn’t sleep. There is always hope. Of course, it needs to be tempered with strength of purpose. Let’s hope our newly elected Congress can get something done, keep their noses clean, and give our country many reasons to invite them back in ‘08.
